Alice Wong is an Eindhoven based information designer and storyteller, who enjoys conducting creative research, analysing information, with the aim to visually translate complex information into intriguing and shareable storytelling.
She was born in Amsterdam and raised in Hong Kong. She returned to the Netherlands to study at the Design Academy Eindhoven after she won a scholarship with her graduation design project HAPPINESS and was awarded for Design Student of the Year 2010 by Hong Kong Designers Association. In the same year, she achieved Gold Award in Graphic Design at Caritas Bianchi College of Careers.
After finishing her research master MA Information Design at the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2015, she won the Dioraphte Award in the Student Competition from Nederlands Film Festival with her master graduation project RECONSTRUCTING REALITY in the following year.
Reconstructing Reality was selected to be screened at 18th Annual Real to Reel Film Festival (USA), 6th Short Film Festival Bangalore (India), I.V. Filmmerfest Hamburg (Germany), Internationale Kurzfilmwoche Regensburg (Germany), Nederlands Film Festival (Utrecht), Brest European Short Film Festival (France), Go-short Film Festival (Nijmegen), WE Film Festival (Maastricht), also exhibited at the Witte Dame during the Dutch Design Week 2015 & 2016 (The Netherlands) and Salone del Mobile (Italy) 2017.
